Kroger Trip Wednesday Oct.26

I went shopping at Kroger and Publix this week.  I bought way to much at Publix to list it all, but here's my short and sweet Kroger trip. 

Kroger

(2) Field Bologna Sale $1.00 ea.
 used (2) .50/1 q's that doubled total oop FREE
(2) Dole Canned Pineapple Sale $1.00 each
used (1) .50/2 q that doubled making them .50 each
(2) Birdseye SteamFresh Frozen Vegetable    Sale $1.00 each
used (2) .50/1 q's that doubled total oop FREE

Total OOP for entire purchase after coupons $1.29!!!!

A very good day a Kroger if you ask me.  

PS- Sorry no pics, I am suppose to get a new digital camera for Christmas and I can't figure out how to upload pics from my phone.

Target and Publix

Ellie was off work yesterday, so we went to Target to look around.  And I got a couple cool deals.
1  Nutella Spread $3.00 - $1 coupon = $2.00
6 Fivestar Plastic Folders on Clearance for $0.25 each - (3) $1/2 Fivestar products = FREE PLUS OVERAGE
1 Up Antacid (been having some Heartburn lately) $2.39
minus $0.10 for using my own bag
minus $0.14 for my using my RedCard
Total OOP for all $3.31

Next up was Publix.  Got a couple things that I didn't originally have on my list.  My list is way to long to put it all on here, but here's a few highlights
bagels, cream cheese, apples, frozen veggies, sandwich meat, oj, sour cream, chicken nuggets, cereal, cereal bars, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, alfredo sauce, penny item soda.
My total after sales and coupons was $49.44.

I saved $42.92 with coupons and store sales.  $19.42 of that was JUST coupons, the rest was the stores sales.

Hope I am encouraging some of you to try coupons.  It doesn't have to be an everyday thing like me, just get a store or two that you like and use your coupons at.  It will help with your budget!!

Kroger

Okay, so I only had 3 coupons for this trip, but I got some awesome deals with my Kroger Card and stocked up on some meats.

Kroger
(2) Kroger Wheat Bread on Sale $1.00 each  = $2.00
(6) Kroger half gallon 2% milk Sale $1.39 each = $8.34
(1) 30 count Kroger medium eggs $3.69
(3) Field Franks Sale $1.00 each = $3.00 minus (3) $0.50 coupons doubled = FREE
(5) Perdue Whole Fryer Chickens on Sale $0.77 lb.  =$17.48
We cut up our own whole chickens, it saves a bunch of money on meats, then we freeze in freezer bags.
(1) Kroger Sense Bath Tissue Sale $3.99

Total after Kroger Card, tax and coupons $56.70
Total Savings $29.75

Roasted Pumpkins

Ellie brought home some pumpkins from the farm last night.  She roasted one in the oven, it was sooo good.  You should try it!

Roasted Pumpkin
 1 small pie pumpkin
1 - Tbsp Brown Sugar
Cut pumpkin in half, scrap out seeds.  Sprinkle with brown sugar, place a baking sheet fruit side up at 350* for about 15-20 minutes.  Eat warm.  So yummy!!

 I gave this to Bella as one of her presents this past Saturday for her birthday.

minus 5% for using my Target Red Card $0.55

Total plus tax, after coupons and discounts $ 12.09
